Shower problem

My mom tried to casually mention that I have less people on my shower list than the minimum they need to make... umm I have like seventy people on the list. Where the hell are they throwing my shower? Now what do I do? The more people I invite to the shower, the more people I have to invite to the wedding! Who in the world told my mom I know over 70 women?

Oh my....that is almost as many people as I am having at my wedding... did you include girlfriends of your FHs friends that will be going to the wedding...that might boost up the numbers...or tell your mom your dad can go and invite some friends and they can hang out off in the back or something.

I'm friends with almost all of fh's friends wives/girlfriends so they're already on the list! Its nuts! We're only having about 140 at our wedding!

I wonder where your mom is planning your shower that you need that high of a mim!?? Well at least you know it will be really nice!

tell mom they better be able to switch you into another room with a lower min LOL ... thats seriously insane...

yeah, I guess so. She said worse case she'll just pay for the extra numbers and see if she can get something else for it. This makes me super excited though - because for such a high minimum it must be a really nice place. We had my sister's at the Milleridge Inn at the Carriage House which is like a smaller wedding venue so I'm hoping I'm getting something just as nice!
