Same here. If it's someone REALLY close I prob would spend more. I bought FSIL her entire formal flatware set which was $600 But I was her MOH so I wanted to do something nice.

I'll be cheapo here. I usually go for about $50. In looking back at my shower, ,most of the folks were between $50-100 unless they were really close friends or family.

It depends on the person. Friend of FH - $50 Friend of Mine or Family - $75-100 IMO...even your BEST friend can't expect you to buy a $200 shower gift.

I'll say this much, for my shower the majority of the gifts were between $50 and $100. We got some that were more than $100 - we were very happy with EACH and every gift and felt that everyone was generous!

I normally spend about 50. For my few closest friends and family I spent about 100.
