Isn't who is invited are your close family and friends? Bridal party?
Well I am inviting out of RESPECT for MOM someone in her family to the wedding.. Despite all she has done to me I am inviting her BUT I don't think she should be at the shower. I am at the point now telling MOM if she invites her I will leave. I RATHER NOT have a shower.
ANY ONE else think I am wrong!

Re: Shower Question
If this person's presence at your shower will make you uncomfortable, tell your bridesmaids and your mom (or whoever else is involved in the planning). A wedding is a big affair where you, as the bride, will be so busy that you won't have time to think about much. A shower is usually more intimate and you should feel comfortable.

Re: Shower Question
I agree with the ladies. You do not have to be miserable at your own shower.
