Shower Question

I'm invited to a co-workers bridal shower at a resturant. I along with 2 other people at work will be throwing her a shower at work. How much is proper to spend when you are going to one shower for her and then throwing her another at work??
TIA

Re: Shower Question

It is tough for me to tell you a dollar amount but I do not think that you have to spend double just b/c you are going to 2 showers.

You could:

1. give a big gift for one shower and a smaller token gift for the other.

2. give gifts that complement each other.....for one shower give her mugs in her pattern and for another give her something else in the same pattern (or more of the same thing).

3. for one shower give her a gift off her resigtry and for her other shower give her a home-made type of gift (if you like crafts).

4. chip in with other people for one of her gifts, but do something personal for the other.

Re: Shower Question

Thanks Those are good ideas. I can't afford to spend what I would normally spend on her 2x plus the second shower I'm giving at work so it makes it a bit more difficult. But I think I'll give her a bigger gift at the shower I'm invited to and a smaller gift at the shower I throw. I like the idea of giving gifts that complement each other. :)

Thanks for the help
