Shower question
I've posted this before, but now I have a more specific question.
background: My best friend is getting married in PA (where we went to school-she and rest of bridal party are still in college). Her mother's friends are throwing a coed shower this month in PA, and FH and I are invited. The BP is also expected to throw her a shower, bc she wants a traditional shower with all her girl friends (mom's friend is only inviting parent's friends and BP-none of her other friends).
It's a lil pricy to travel, especially if I take Amtrack-which I probably will, stay in hotel overnight, and come backthe next day, plus i will be throwing her another shower that I have to travel for, and a bachlorette party to throw. Then, two weeks later, the wedding itself, hair, makeup, travel, hotel, etc.....the bills are adding up. Not that I mind too much, it's just frustrating.
Now, back to my question: What would an appropriate gift be for the first bridal shower (mom's friend's) that FH and I will attend?
