I had my shower on july 22nd. There were 3 people who decided to go in on a gift for me. Inside the card was a note saying that the gift was on it's way. But i have yet to see it (going on 2 weeks here).
do i send a thank you note or do i wait to get the gift first before sending one out?

were they at the shower? if so, send a thank you for coming to the shower. maybe that will motivate them to send the gift

What would you possibly be thanking them for then by sending a TY? TY for mentioning that you were sending me a gift?? I would just wait and see what happens.
