How many weeks before the wedding do most people have the shower? Is one month before the wedding enough time or should it be two months before the wedding?

I'm not sure that it really matters...I think 2 months is good because after that things start to get more hectic but if you're OK with a month then that will work too...I wouldn't go any closer than a month though because it's a lot for the bride aa well as the guests who have to give two gifts and block off two weekend days...HTH

mine was 2 months before. A month before is a little tight. I think it can be around 2-4 months in advance

usually 1-3 months before. We attended a wedding in April, her shower was January,
My wedding was July 7 and my shower was end of April.
And nevermind the fact that they say the wedding invites need to be sent out be4 shower invites, thats not true and rarely happens!

My wedding is also this July 7th and my shower will be 4/30. The bach. party is in Feb., so we wanted to make sure people weren't broke for the shower
