Shower Question

I have to go to a bridal shower in FL for my best friend's future SIL and it's turning out to be a nightmare! The bride's mom keeps sending emails to my friend saying that she wants to have a game where you carve a cucumber to look like a penis, she's making penis shaped cookies, bought a penis shaped chip & dip set AND THEN said something about having a 6 foot blow up penis at the door...is it me or is this woman totally nuts??!! Freud would have a field day with this woman!!

I would be mortified if my mom suggested such things. Please tell me I'm not crazy to think this is totally inappropriate for a BRIDAL SHOWER??

That's exactly what I said...now I'm worried that her mom is going to come along on that too - and will change the venue from a dance club to a strip club!

yea def sounds more like things for a bachelorette. I would be a little embarrassed if my mom did that to me at the bridal shower.

Penises for a bridal shower!!! That is completely inappropriate! If my mother EVERRR did that, I'd be mortified!

I'm dying over here....lol

This is insane! It's more of a theme for a bachorlette party!!! if I was the bride and I came to my shower and saw all of this I would be mortified!!! I would make my mother take it all away!!!!!

Why would she suggest a theme like that?? How inappropriate!!!

Holy crap I think she's a little confused on this one.

maybe her mom needs to be reminded that the elders may not think its funny and acutally make them really uncomfortable! and remind her its a BRIDAL SHOWER!!!

if she doesnt change her plans.. i honestly would warn the bride.. (i would be mortified if i walked in and had no clue what to expect and there was nothing but penis! ) poor girl!
