Shower question

I heard that the little guests that i have that are coming want to give cash.I don't want them spending so much $$ so i rather have something off the registry so they can save some $$ since the wedding is 2 months away from the shower. All the showers i've been to the gifts that were given were not cash. I want gifts to unwrap because how the heck is my bow hat going to be made . Frankly cash is boring i want to experience the surprise of what's in the box since the surprise of my shower was blown .

So my question is how many of you ladies received more cash than gifts off your registry?

I've never ever seen cash given at a shower. I have heard of invites saying 'monetary gifts appreciated' but I'm not a fan of that...

I actually JUST recently heard of something called a 'money shower'. I assume its gifts of cash instead of registry items. But I dont know anyone that's had a money shower yet.

My sister had like 10 people at her shower and half the stuff she registered for didnt come off. They STILL had leftover bows for her hat. Rest assure you'll have enough bows and you'll be able to unwrap prezzies also!

LOL I'm sure you'll have gifts to open and that your hat will be super fabulous.

I had quite a few monetary gifts....I was surprised but they were definitely welcome!!!! They paid for my photographer

I'm sure you'll get lots of gifts as well....tell your bridal party that you want your bow hat and to please make it happen!

Donna received more gifts, and I made lots of ribbons to put on my giftbaskets, so in case she got a lot of giftbags with no ribbons, the shower hat could still be made!!!!! Mary MOB

I have an idea! Use a smaller plate, like a cake plate and then youll have a smaller hat but it'll be full...it can be a bridal yarmukle! LOL
