my mom keeps asking me what theme wishing well i'd like at my shower.

we did a recipe card thing for my SIL it was cute eveyone wrote their fav recipe so when she went home she was set!

My wishing well didn't have a theme. Usually I just pick up any small items for a wishing well. It usually turns out to be kitchen stuff though- spatulas, meat thermometer, measuring cups, etc.

I went to one where they requested a bottle of wine from each guest...
My friend and I decided to get a bottle of tequila and margarita mix since we had bought the margarita glasses and pitcher!

They did a lingerie wishing well for me and asked everyone to bring a pair of sexy undies. The guests LOVED it!! They said it was so much fun shopping for sexy, silly lingerie for someone else, and buying stuff they would never buy for themselves! I certainly have quite the range of styles haha!

They put an insert into the invite with my size (not a HUGE fan of that part, but since I have recently lost over 40 lbs, I was not nearly embarrassed as I could have been!) Even people who didn't come to the shower, mailed my cousin undies!! They displayed them on a clothesline in the pix below! (Ignore my still VERY surprised face in the first one!)

I've been to showers where its an 'around the clock' wishing well. Each invite has a time on it, and the person brings something that the bride and groom could use at that time of day.
