Shower Question -- Etiquette?

Shower Question -- Etiquette?

Okay, so after your BP throws you your shower, is it customary (or i guess, a good idea) to thank them in some way?

If yes, any suggestions??

That's what I thought your Bridal party gifts were for no? Someone please tell me if I'm right or not..
XOXOXO

Yeah, I've been a BM many times, and we always received thank you cards then the over all thank you gift near the wedding date.

Good point -- forgot about the BP gifts at the rehearsal dinner!

i think a heartfelt thank you and thank you card will suffice! bm gifts that come later (often at the RD) are a way to thank them for being part of you wedding and all the events leading up to it, not just for the shower.

eta some brides put together a luncheon for their bm's as an additional thank you which is a nice touch (if you have the time and extra $ for one)

my moh hosted my shower. she flew here from california. when she flew back for the wedding, i presented her with her thank you gift.

her favorite flower is the iris. i got her a lenox decorative tea pot with irises on it. she loved it.
