Hi ladies...I went to a close friend's bridal shower today. It was great-food, the game, everything-but I have a fashion/etiquette question...is it considered a fashion faux pas to wear white to someone's bridal shower?????

I don't thinks so. Is it OK to wear white to your own? I just bought a really cute white sundress that I think I am going to wear to mine this saturday!

i dont know if it's considered 'faux pas'...i just wouldn't wear it 'cause i know some brides wear white to their shower & engagement parties...

I dont think its an issue...but if you know the bride well enough and you think it would annoy her then i wouldnt do it...

That's why I wasn't sure if it was a 'faux pas'-because out of respect to the bride, she might want to wear white. Thank you ladies-I should have explained before that at my friend's shower, two girls came in wearing white outfits (all white) and I thought, I hope it doesn't upset my friend. I am also thinking of wearing white to mine but I haven't found a white sundress that I like, so I bought a backup dress....I think it would bother me a little if a guest wore white to mine (but not as much as if they wore white to my wedding!!!)
