LOL! YOU are still looking for a place for YOUR shower??

Sorry, I know, not funny. Can't your mom help your sister? Or FMIL or other BM's?

HOw about casae del mare in centerport, they have a private room.
Or Nocello's in northport. Both places are very good.
They just opened angelo's in east northport and i have heard really good things about that place.
Or La casa in northport, its right on the beach and teh portions they give you are huge.

Trust me, I know how ya feel....my mom has no clue, either...so I'll be doing the research myself as well when it gets closer to my time...

I had mine at the Garden Grille and I loved it!

Are you looking for girly type or italian?

I went to La Casa for Mother's Day, they are really good there. Right on the beach too which is so beautiful.

Re: Shower restaurant recommendations

thanks everyone!

Part of this is my own fault, for not just letting things take their own course. My sister wants to throw me a shower, but then she asks questions like 'where would you like to have it' 'what type of atmosphere' 'who should be invited' 'is august good' and before you know it, I'm planning my own shower!

What about enlisting FH to help her? To be honest, I think Tim did most of the leg work for my mom (cause she lives in SC) and my MOH.

Just try to get yourself out of it!
