How about the Riverview on Oakdale? Or the Bayport House in Bayport? Or Captain Bills in Bay Shore.

Shandon Court. It's on Montauk Hwy either in Islip or East Islip. They do a great job.
I believe someone posted about them within the last month...do a search!

I LOVE where mine was- The Bridge in West Islip
Also, theres: Nocellos in Northport Riverview and Snapper Inn in Oakdale Nick DAngelos in Merrick

I had mine at the Port Jeff Country Club, it was really gorgeous, overlooking the water. And the food was great!

Babylon The Argyle - really nice, more gourmet food, and EXCELLENT watermelon martinis Mario's High Hook - on the water, not as fancy Pier 44 - by the water, not too fancy
Sayville Land's End - may be pricey, but on the water
Bay Shore Jon Thomas Inn - nice little bar & grill. I went to a baby shower there and the price was reasonable. Molly Malone's - Bar & Grille on the water.

tellers in islip (we are having our eparty there and, depending on the size of your group, can have two different spots-- the main room or the private room on the upper level)... both nice and great food!!
or how about the babylon carriage house?? that's where my girlfriend had hers!
ETA: my sister is having hers at the garden grill which has great food and is a beautiful place!

Nocellos in Northport
The View in Northport has waay better food than Nocellos, and I've known the owner of Nocellos since I was a kid - his wife and my mother have been friends for 30+ years.
That's not to say I wouldn't go there - I do, whenever I can't have brunch at The View, I go to Nocellos!

I just went to lunch today in this really nice place called Palmers in Farmindale (I believe) On hempstead turnpike. It use to be Fulton Street Pub.
