Shower thank you question...

Ok so now that my shower is over .. ive got a question about thank yous...

I had a typical 'girls only' shower - on some of the gifts/cards they were signed just by the women who gave them and others included their spouse name.

So when writing thank yous - do i write it just to the women or included thier spouse? Should i do them all the same way - or write it which ever way they did?

And some wrote just my name on the cards and some included FH -- so do i sign the thank you just my name or included FH???

I just wrote dear so and so, not husband and I signed only my name. I figured I was the one writing it out why so FH get the credit.

I just dont want to offend anyone - like the gift is supposed to be from the couple and im only thanking the women

I think you should take your cue from their card.

If they said 'Dear you & Fh', I would sign from both of you.

If they said 'from me & him', address it to both of them.

Might be confusing and more work..but it's probably the best way not to offend anyone.

I agree, however the gift was addressed I would write to both, if that makes sense

I signed from both me and FH..bc the stuff is for both of us.

And i also put to whoever signed the card, if it was both i put both, if it was just a woman than i just put her. I didnt want to insult anyone
