shower thank yous

i have been doing this all day.. my hand hurts!!! I love the gifts and want to say thank you but i think we should be able to send out a mass email sayingnhey thanks!

Hate to say it but i think thank yous are a duty - and the more personal the better. I took 3 weeks writing very detailed and personal thank yous to my shower quests. They went out and got these great gifts so it is the least I could do. Many people even called me after the thank yous to say how touched they were by what I wrote.

I think a simple thank you note hand written is something people do not do enough - I even send thank yous after attending a dinner party. I think our wedding thank yous will take me months!
