shower themes... Moms please help!

Hi Moms,

I'm planning a shower and I think the bride would love a theme.... I'm just not sure what to go with.

I thought about just doing pink - she loves pink. i coudl think of some things to do for that - like a candy bar with all pink candy as the favors..... but i was really hopign to do somethign more than a color theme.....

i t hought of a princess theme. i think she would enjoy this - but i don't want it to be like a 5 year olds bday party, so i'm not quite sure how to go about that. no horse and carriage, etc. but i do think she'd be into sparkly wands, a tiara, etc. lol.

i also thought about a reminiscing theme. games could include having pictures of the bride and groom and the guests have to guess how old they are in each pic. Or each guest writes down a story about somethign she and the bride did - the bride picks three and tries to guess who wrote them, etc.

any ideas, moms? TIA!

Oh I love pink too and I think a princess theme is adorable. But if you think it would be too childish maybe you could do a wine theme. That way you could do the wine color along with pink accents.
Just a thought.

I did a sex and the city theme for my daughter's shower...it was fun! Pictures are in my album.
We had high heel shoe keychain favors, martini glass centerpieces, cupcakes like the ones from the Magnolia bakery in the city etc. It was alot of fun. We even did the bachelorette party around that theme.
