Since my sister lives in California and can only come East before the wedding during Spring Break, she told me both the day and location of my bridal shower. It's going to be at the home of my aunt's boyfriend, who happens to live in a gated community that's a 2 minute drive from Crest Hollow. His house is ENORMOUS, and includes a basement movie theatre and five bathrooms. I'm so excited! Should I act surprised, or do a lot of girls know about their shower in advance?

Mine is going to be a surprise but I think is fine either way what you want to do, my sisters shower wasn't a surprise because she doesn't like surprises -- and thats perfectly fine !

About acting surprised - who is throwing your shower? Do they know you know? How are your invites going out - will it say it is a surprise? If they still think it's a surprise I would act surprise. After all you don't know how it will be decorated or what the theme is so those things will be a surprise. Wow I used surprise too much in this repsonse

My MOH sister is throwing the shower, she texted me to say that it will be there on this date and I should be happy that we're not having it at my godparent's house because I seemed upset about having it there. And I don't even recall her mentioning my godparent's house! When I told my best friend about the shower, she seemed relieved that it was taken care of Her and another bridesmaid had to take the reins after our recently married friend's MOH kid sister sat on he sidelines; I guess she didn't want to go through all of the stress again without being the MOH. Completely understandable.
