Shower vent #2
I posted a few weeks ago how FH's family thought FMIL should have thrown me a separate shower in NJ.
My Mom just told me that out of the 25+ woman who were invited to the shower from FH's family (besides his mom and sister) only 2 are coming to the shower. My poor mom booked the shower in Nassau county to make it more accessible to FH's fam and now has to pay for people who won't be there (because she didn't know so many would rsvp no, she gave the restaurant a minimum).
It really pisses me off, because some of these people FH and I have gone out of our way to attend events they have.
And while I'm not 'all about the gifts' only 2 of the people not coming have sent gifts to the house. I am starting to wonder if any of them will come to the wedding. We purposely booked the wedding on a holiday weekend to give his family travel time and now it looks like we may have gone out of our way for nothing.
