Oh soo i just get an RSVP from FH's cousin that lives in Ohio that shes coming to my shower on july 3rd but that she needs a place to stay. She's coming with her mom (Fh's aunt), her hubbie, her 6 yr old son and a guy friend with 2 young daughters. I offered for her and her mom and hubbie and son to stay at my house, but I'm really stressing about this friend of hers. She was like 'he doesnt have to come to the shower but he may need accomodations' ummmmmmm first of all it's a female only shower and 2nd of all we already have FMIL, FFIL and Fh's grandmas staying at my house (from PR) and 3 of my bms from canada staying at my housE!!! i'm stressssssinnnnnnggggggg!!!!!!!!
FH's fam is great but they just can't expect me to put up friends with daughters when we are already putting up the whole family!
sorry girls just need to vent.

That's is horrible..why do you need to put people up.
I would recommend a hotel for them (tell them the price and if they split it it will be cheaper)

I would be a little upset. This guy friend is a complete stranger to you...why are you responsible for giving him a place to stay? I think he or all of them should have made hotel reservations it would have been much more considerate.

You have every right to be stressed. Any you have no reason to put this stranger up. If he and his children want a trip to NY then he needs to find his own place to stay.

as I was reading your post I was thinking 'wow she is a saint'. I would never put that many people up! I can't believe now people are taking advantage of your generosity. I would politely suggest alternate accommodations and let them know you already have a full house.
