Shower Wording
I did the invitations for my friends shower last year. This is the little poem I came up with. She was engaged on Valentines Day but maybe you can modify it.
A ring was given a proposal accepted on Valentine's Day last year.
(name) and (name) will be wedded on a day that's drawing near.
But before she is given away as a wife into a life of marital bliss,
We're throwing her a bash she'll never forget and one you'll surely not want to miss.
You could take out the Valetine's part and use the month she got engaged i.e. on a September day last year.
