My sister is getting married 12/9/11. Her job makes her weekends busy in October and November.
I was thinking of having her showere in the 3 week in August and her B party the 3rd of 4th week of September. Does that sound okay?
I don't want anyone to think it is too far in advance but i think it will be what will work best for my sister. TIA

I'm getting married in December and my shower was last weekend. It worked best for my bridesmaids who teach in the south.
Don't worry about it. Have it when it is convenient for your sister!!!

I think that's fine. If I had had a say I would have had my shower in early september.

Thats perfectly fine! If her job is busy that close to her wedding date, she'll appreciate that you're planning her bparty and shower far enough in advance that it wont interefere with wedding planning!

i'm getting married 10/16 and my mom threw my shower 6/6 because it was easier for her and people are always super busy during the summer... i was EXTREMELY surprised at my shower because I wasn't expecting it. I think your plans are fine
