Anyone have or planning on an unconventional shower? I'm not partcularly girly, so I feel like I'd rather have something different. Of course, there's the paranoia that I'm only doing this once and I might be missing out on the traditional shower 'fun'.
Any thoughts?

I'm not so girly either so I was very clear with my maid of honor that I DO NOT want to play shower games. Other than that I think it will be somewhat traditional. Cake, presents, etc. Because I agree....I don't want to regret it later.

I have a (secret) hand in planning my shower (My family knows how picky I am!) and we are having a 'food and wine' theme. Guests will bring their favorite recipes, and it will be compiled in a recipe book for me. Good food and wine served, and a wishing well related to the theme as well. The whole presents thing will happen - but overall, I was not into having a girly luncheon either.
