Showers

I got married justice of the peace last year in may. (because of taxes and the kids) but this year in may we are actually having our wedding. We are living with his parents untill April 8 because thats when we get to move into our new house.

Do I get a bridal shower and if i do who throws it?

I am not being selfish or anything but my mom had asked me about it and i dont know. We have been living with his parents for about 4 years now, and we Finally get to move out. Yeah!

Yes, you deserve a shower. Either your Mom or BM's can throw it. Congrats on your house.

Of course you should have a shower. Traditionally the mother of the bride and the bridesmaids throw the party. Good luck!

my mom is paying, MOH is organizing and BMs are helping...that is if my MOH lets them help.

Congrats on the house.
Your MOH, bridesmaids or Mom will throw your shower. They may already be planning your suprise shower.

Every bride deserves a shower, justice of the peace or not!! Besides, you want to start anew. Like new appliances etc for your new house. It's all about you!!!

Yeah I dont know if my mom is planning one or not. If she is she is doing a good job keeping it a secret. She is asking all these questions. but As of now i dont think she is planning on one. My moh is just saying that she is gonna throw me a bachlorette party. lol but nothing about a shower. she told me to have my mom call her though. hmmmmm. lol Thanks girls, love ya.
