showing pictures of your dress

Are you all showing pictures of your wedding dress to friends? I have been showing people at work (a picture from a bridal magazine) and sometimes their reaction bothers me. I don't expect people to love it and start jumping up and down (even if I am), but when people have absolutely no reaction I think it is rude. I am so excited to show people but maybe I should just stop doing it. What are you girls doing?

i only showed my mom, MOH, bridesmaid and u girls of course i don't want to show anyone else attending the wedding because i sorta want it to be a surprise

I only showed my MOH and Mother. My sister's did not even see it. For some reason, that is the one thing I am being very secretive about. I won't even post it on here yet with the risk of someone I know seeing it.

I agree...when i get it i will only show my MOH, & mom..of course.....and you lady's...as i don't want people to 'picture' me in it until the big day....

Theresa I thought you weren't going to show anyone! I thought this was our work 'secret'

Not sure if I am going to show anyone yet. But honestly, you dress is Beautiful!! Don't show anyone else here - they don't know what they are talking about!

I have showed some friends and close family....they seem to like it and I have gotten reactions but they are close friends and family who really wanted to see it..and I'm not really secretive about my dress, just want to make sure the FH doesn't see it.

I don't show anyone pics of my dress. I won't even post it, because the picture of it looks nothing like that on me. It seriously doesn't even look like the same dress, I actually think it's not pretty in the pic

My mom went with me for my dress, so she obviously knows whatit looks like. Other than that I showed FMIL, FSIL, my sister and 2 of my BM's.

ha, apparently I'm in the minority! I've been showing pictures to everyone and anyone...

I don't really care about surprising people on the day of, and I'm excited and I want to share!

I haven't bought my dress yet but I showed pics of dresses that I liked to a few friends and co workers...

I've shown pics of the style I want my dress to my mom and to the ladies in my BP but thats really it. I want it to be a suprise for my guests.

I haven't bought by dress yet... but I'm only showing the people who come with me.. my mom, sister, aunt, FMIL, Grandmother... just close family. Maybe once I order it I'll show some of the bridal party when I go for fittings etc.... Thats it. I don't want people formulating opinions from a picture without them seeing me in it all done up.

I don't even like saying the designer because then everyone goes online searching for the gown & sending it to people... I don't want that to happen.
