Shrug with BM dress

If you have a BM that is uncomfortable wearing a dress without some kind of sleeve would you let them wear a matching shrug or coverup?

I kind of have that situation so I'm just putting the girls in different dresses (but same designer/color). Is there a little jacket or something that the designer makes that matches the dress? I honestly wouldn't mind if one of them wanted to wear a wrap/cover up but that's just me.

nope. I am not that nice - get over it or go to the gym like us brides have to do lol

I really wouldn't care. It is important to me that my BMs feel comfortable.

I was just in a wedding and the bride picked a dress that is way too low cut for me. I asked her if I could get the dress altered and my seamstress just put a little panel across the V in the front of the dress. For me, I would have been miserable if I had to wear that dress they way it was. I am really a modest person and I felt horrible. Plus, it worked out for her because my boobs were so egregious in that dress it would have ruined her pictures!

My bridesmaids are paying for their own dresses and they should feel comfortable in it. Also I would like them to be able to wear the dress again. That being said you can have a seamstress add sleeves or buy a little shawl/wrap.

Some people are very self conscious about their bodies for reasons we may not understand. They might not be able to get over it or go to the gym.

My MOH was very nervous about her back and wanted to cover it with a bolero (she felt has bad pockmarks/ scars on it).. but after seeing her back I really felt there was nothing wrong with her and talked her out of the bolero she was going to use lol... but really only because there was literally nothing wrong and you couldn't see the scars she thought were so visible.

I think if it's MOH I wouldn't mind too much if she had it, but a BM with a shrug may look like MOH if she's the only one with it and stands out. To solve this I would ask the BM for pics and ceremony t0 go without it. After that I wouldn't care!
