Those of you getting married (or who have married) in colder months, did you wear a shawl or shrug? Where did you get it from? What were outdoor pics like in the cold weather? Let us know...

Re: shrugs?
I remember reading a bride's review from an 07 bride (sorry can't remember who it was) who got married in an autumnal month...she had her heart set on taking photos outside even though it was cold, but when the photos came back, she and her DH had red noses in all the outdoor photos because it was so cold.

Re: shrugs?
I got married in January, 40 degrees out. I got a vintage fur stole off ebay. We managed to take a few outdoor pics, but we alternated between being indoors and outdoors so we wouldn't be freezing. It was definitely not that bad with the shrug on

Re: shrugs?
i got my shrug from david's bridal. it actually did help keep me warm. my dress also came with a wrap, and we took a few pics with that on as well, but the faux fur def kept me warmer.

We are getting married in 2.5 weeks so it should be warm but my mom bought me a cream pashmina just in case.

Re: shrugs?
I'm getting married the day before you and i am PRAYING for a nice day (warm weather wouldn't hurt, but as long as its not windy I think we should be alright)...I ordered a Sheer Shrug with some crystals along the edge of the sleeves and neck line, I ordered it from RK when I went to try on my dress. I tried it on with the dress and it looks perfect, I'll probably just wear it to church and maybe for some pics afterwards. I don't think the sheer shrug will keep me that warm, but I'm sure it'll help a little bit.
i got mine from ebay. it was an antique faux fur in brown. i loved that damn thing, but it was cumbersome to handle, i found it was more work to keep on than it was worth. i liked it in on pic, and if my damn wedsite was working properly, i could post it.
but i got married february 3rd - pretty chilly-chill, but the adrenaline and excitement of the day, not to mention the warmth all around me & in my heart, i didn't need it, and my gown was strapless.
it was cute for a couple of pics, but that's it.

i got it on EBAY
i got an XS/S but the shoulders are a little too wide so my mom (she sews) is taking it in for me so keep that in mind, if i would have gotten a kiddie one it probably would have fit better....but its not costing me anything b/c my mom is fixing it for me
