Shutterfly Thank You cards

I was thinking of using Shutterfly for my Thank Yous instead of my invite girl...did anyone use them and if so did you have anything printed on the inside where it gives you the option or did you write something for each one in there? Anyone have any feedback?

I am not using them (we are getting them as part of our package from the photographer).

Anyway -- in the last two weeks we have received 3 thank yous (2 wedding 1 shower) all from the shutterfly. Funny thing is all the girls picked out the same layout and design. They all had wording printed on the inside and it was all different so I guess you get options.

My sister used Shutterfly for her thank yous .. they were beautiful. I don't think many people actually keep those pics anyhow, and you can include a pic for the close family if you want - or give one to them later. I think it's a good option!

My sister did not have anything printed in it, she just used it to write a personal message. I may do the same.

They all looked nice. They each did it differently - one person had their names in the card and wrote NOTHING (which I personally didn't like). One personalized them and the other I don't remember.

I know everyone has their opinions on whether to write something personal or not, I can't decide...I feel like I am going to write the same thing for everyone really anyway except for maybe really close friends and family...

I know what you mean. I am all for the generic saying on the inside with a little something else. This one person had the printed saying but then didn't even write the greeting or sign their name. It was like she got the delivery, put them all in envelopes and put address lables on them. Nothing personal about it.

we tried using shutterfly, but had too much difficulty uploading. we used winkflash and got a good price.

I used shutterfly and got so many compliments on the thank yous. I had one line of them and our names pre-printed on the card and then i wrote a quick note on everyones. I felt it was important to at least write a sentence or two to everyone.

I did shutterfly and loved them. I just got them in the mail, I got 75 for less than $25!! I did simple pic card with 3 pics in them and a nice message (which I wrote, not pre-printed)

I used Shutterfly for my thank you's. I just did the note card option with one picture of us on the front and nothing printed inside. I was very happy with how they came out

I just want to jump in...as a person who received a very generic pre printed thank you with no personalization on it at all...I was offended.

I'm all for a pre printed saying but at least put some personalization.

Great ok this helped me out! I am going to order them blank on the inside and write them out! I am glad to hear so many people were pleased with their shutterfly thank yous. Did you get to see a proof of them at all?

I also used shutterfly and put a generic message on the inside. We then added a specific message to people who we are close with and adressed and signed each card.. it made the process go by much quicker! With 175 thank yous to right.. it was MUCH easier!

I made some up on shutterfly cause i didn't have enough. it was easier that way. you can put your own saying inside. They came out very nice.

Me three One of my friends rec'd a TY card with a preprinted message and it was a turnoff....most people go out of their way to give you a check and the least one can do is write a quick handwritten message.

i made shower thank you's with shutterfly and used a pic from our e-shoot. i left them blank on the inside. the final product was lovely, and everyone raved about them.
