shuttle bus

shuttle bus

We are looking for a company to do a shuttle bus for the day of our wedding. We would need it to take the guests to the reception and then later to pick them up and run back and forth from the hotel to the after party.
Does anyone know of a good company with decent prices??
Thanks!

Re: shuttle bus

Yeah, I booked Sir Oliver and they don't have shuttles. My hotel has them, but they only do one run and they are kind of expensive.
If I find anything out, i will let you know.

I have the same question. There aren't many drivers on my FH side, and they have to travel from queens to LI. So we need a shuttle bus, quotes i got from bus companies are up to 1500!!!

We would really like to have a few shuttles to take people back and forth to the hotel also. Any information would really help.

Re: shuttle bus

We are using ALert buses - we got them for about 12 hours - very reasonable and have great reviews on here. They are picking people up at the hotel bringing them to the church back to the hotel - then to the reception- then back to the hotel. We have a lot of oot guests from Ireland coming with no way to get around. They also said they will make 2 trips to any location included in the price. The bus is 45-48 people i believe. Good Luck

Re: shuttle bus

I went crazy with this issue ..I have about 60-70 ppl staying at the hotel and needed a way to get them to the reception..We are getting married in the hamptons so after i called all the limo places i remembered the Hampton Jitney!!!! They are great and very reasonable...some of the limo companies charge a lot of $$$ for bus rentals. :)

Try Serenity Limousines. We had them run a shuttle bus from the airport to the hotel (our hotel had free transportation to the reception hall.) But they were extremely reliable and I highly recommend them.

I second Alert Bus company, they had the best prices around, and I called EVERYWHERE. They've also had multiple positive reviews on LIW.

Thanks so much for all the suggestions! I will start calling around and post when I find something reasonable.

Re: shuttle bus

Do some searches on LIW. I have heard of people getting a bus from some company and they loved it! And it's cheap. Maybe it's the Alert Bus that people are talking about.

i booked All Star, they have a 14 passenger van (and other, bigger buses) but they'll do more than one trip if needed. FM for details, i thought they had good prices.

Re: shuttle bus

Does anyone know if you can squeeze extra people on a bus? I think we are going to go with Alert bus which holds 55 people but it looks like we are going to have between 60-65 people.

Re: shuttle bus

Hi shelby34, my daughter's wedding is also at Lombardi's on the Sound, next June. Do you mind if I ask what hotel you are using? We haven't found any that will shuttle up to Port Jeff at all...
Thanks!
