Has anyone done this? I want to provide a shuttle to and from the reception for my guests that are staying at the hotel because I don't want them to have to navigate getting back to the hotel at night (they're all from OOT, and even though I don't think it's confusing, a lot of people think the roads on Long Island are).
Anyone have any idea who I can call about this or approximately how much it costs?
I posted on the vendor board, but I'm not getting anything...

Re: Shuttle bus for guests?
Check with the hotel that your guests are staying at. My hotel is providing the shuttle for the guests at no charge to be dropped off and picked up from the reception hall.

Check with the hotel that you blocked rooms at. Some will provide this to you for free.

We're doing this. It's doing a picup 1/2 hour before the ceremony (the hotel is 5 minutes away) and will be dropping all of our drunk guests off afterwards

Re: Shuttle bus for guests?
I was originally going w/a hotel that had a shuttle, just for that reason. But their shuttle only held 15, and I'd have about twice that. So I ended up going w/a different hotel and renting a 33 passenger bus to transport guests (at my expense). Using Elite (litransportation.com) - they were recommended by the Marriott Islandia. FM me if you want cost.

Re: Shuttle bus for guests?
I am probably going to book with alert buses or golden touch they were the most reasonable. I have a lot of OOT guests and we are going to shuttle from the hotel to the church -back to the hotel -and then onto wcc and then home again that night. We won't have to worry about anyone getting lost.

Re: Shuttle bus for guests?
Is it the Wingate where your guests are staying? I just called them today and it is $200 round trip for a 14-passanger van. But if you block 15 or more rooms, you get one van free (1 round trip)

Beth, thanks for the info.
We may go w/ the Holiday Inn express or if not, may get a van through our limo company.

Re: Shuttle bus for guests?
Elite transportation quoted us $1,000 for a 33 passenger bus to shuttle guests between the Hilton in Islandia to the Hamptons on a Saturday in July.

Re: Shuttle bus for guests?
We are using Elite, paying around $1500 for 2 24-passenger shuttle buses to take guest from hotel to wedding and back at the end of the night.
