Shuttle from/to Manhattan to/from LI venue

hi.
has anyone tried booking a shuttle bus for guests coming from Manhattan and guests staying in hotels in Manhattan?

If so, it would be great if you could share your experiences (does logistic get complicated?), and also pricing of the shuttle (for how many people) and the vendor you used?

Thank you.
