Another question..We just found out that our hotel does not offer shuttle service to and from the reception. I called around and it seems that not many hotels do, so I was refered to a few shuttle services and for 1 round trip of 50 people is was $1,000....can you believe it...I almost fell off my chair. What do I do now because I have atleast 45 oot and I know the bridal party don't want to drive back to the hotel. UGGGHHHH.

We had no choice but to reserve a 55 passenger coach bus for our wedding day. All of DH's guests were OOT as were most of our friends. My ILs paid about $900 for 12 hours. The bus picked up guests at 2 hotels, took them to the church, to the reception and then back to the hotels.
Our OOT guests were so appreciative that they didn't have to drive around so late, especially after most of them were drinking.
I used busbank.com bc I reserved it too late and it was the summer. They were really great and easy to work with.

I am not sure of the location of your hall to this place but our Hotel used ollies van service. I think they are in Garden city. They use white vans and it was about 70 each way. The van holds 12-14

we have the same issue and we are paying about $1000 to transport guests we did not ahve much of a choice i knew i had a bunch of college friends coming from out of town in addition to all of the other out of town guests i figure if it is there people will use it

the hotel by my reception hall has shuttle service and I am glad because the limo company quoted 700 bucks for a bus!

We checked with our limo company and they could do a 14 passenger van for 2 hours (circling between the hotel and reception hall) for $150. People would have to wait I guess, but if you start it a little early there are always people who leave before the party is over!

We hoping that we get lucky with a no frills van service. The wedding and hotel is in Port Jefferson. Any suggestions?
