Shuttle service

Shuttle service

Does anyone have any recommendations on companies that provide shuttle service? I would like to transport my guests from the hotel to the reception and back. I would like to rent a bus, since I'll be having alot of out of town guests. I did a search on 'shuttles' and couldn't come up with anything. Thanks so much!

Thanks so much Elizabeth and Michelle!! :-)

The hotel should be able to provide you with that. Check with them.

I am not ordering my invitations from either place...I am ordering some other items from Invitations By Dawn (Ribbon, ring pillow, etc) I just wanted to let you know that Dawn will match any price you find on the same product in another catalog. I thought it was a good deal!

I am going to use Classic Coaches out of Bohemia. They will pick up my guests at the hotel, take them to the wedding, and come back 6 hours later to pick everyone up. Their number is 631-567-5100. Ask for Ron.

I was quoted $775 but it may depend on the distance. I thought that was much more reasonable than some of the others I called where they charged by the hour.
How do you refuse money that's offered to you? When we got engaged, my fi's parents told us that they would give us a lump sum of money to be used however we want. We decided to put it towards the downpayment on our house and have been saving like crazy for the rest of what we need. We made an agreement with his parents that if we needed a little bit more we would take a loan from them and pay them back with the money we get from the wedding. Now that we've found a house, his parents have gone crazy. They want to pre-inherit us money. They say that since it's ours anyway, they want to see us enjoy it. In addition, our(me and Fi)birthdays are within a week of the wedding, so they want to furnish a room of the house for us as our birthday gift. I'm embarrassed to take the money, and my fi has told them that we don't want it because we have figured it all out and will be ok financially without their gifts. The other thing is that my parents can't afford to give me more than what they have already(their gift is being used for the wedding)and I don't want them to feel like they have to do more since his parents want to do so much. I don't know what to do.

I actually did call my hotel, but they don't use shuttles, just taxis.

Misha, what are classic coaches prices like? I appreciate your help. Someone told me the prices start around $650, is that about right?

I would call Ron for a quote. He will give you the amount over the phone.
