Shuttle Transportation

Since there are far less people staying at the hotel than originally anticipated, I am going to cancel our 49 passenger bus and try and rebook a 20-25 passenger shuttle. The company that I am working with doesn't offer these. Does anyone know of somewhere else? Prices? My limo company only has the decked out bus that would cost more than our limos!

Also, just wondering, are you providing service from the hotel to the church, then back, and to the reception? I was only planning on providing transportation from the hotel to the reception.

i booked my shuttle transportation with Hamtpon Jitney....call them and see if they have smaller shuttles...which I think they might have and they were the best prices that I got for a 56 passenger bus

I have been calling bus places all week looking for bus charters. If you do a google search with charter buses long island or minbus charter long island, you'll find a bunch.

I wouldn't think that you need to provide a shuttle to the church. It's mainly just so people don't have to worry about drinking and driving, right?

I'm the opposite, our reception is at the hotel where everyone is staying and since all my international guests won't have a car, we're getting the bus for the church.

Hi - can anyone give me an idea of the possible cost of a bus to take guests to/from the hotel/reception? My future mother-in-law wants to considering getting buses for everyone.

2 vendors on here replied to me about it and said each way is 450-600$ EACH way!! Def out of my planned budget!!!

We booked Alert Bus Company and got a 49 passenger bus for $725 I think, it was the best price we found. Just turns out we won't be needing to shuttle that many people. I called a few places today and most of the smaller shuttles are more luxury and therefore even MORE than the 49 passenger bus. Oh well, 20 people will have 2 seats each

I am using Barnum school bus company and getting the big school bus for 450 for 8-10 hours!!! I am having them travel to and from hotel and reception.
