my fh has been sick since wend nite ..we went to doc yest but he still has between 102-104 fever wat else can i do that im not already???
he told us that he has upper respiratory infecf which i think is bs....as far as the fever he said just take advil....i called again about hr ago cause this is ridiculous that his fever is so high and waitin for a call back....if it doesnt get better 2nite im thinkin of takin him to er
I personally just had a 102 fever starting on Tuesday - On Wednesday I went to the doctor b/c I was feeling so horrible, and I had a throat infection (pharyngitis the doc said). As soon as I started taking the z-pack he prescribed I started feeling better. I was crying when the doctor came in so he probably felt sorry for me... I couldn't even drive myself - FH had to take me. My fever finally broke today, but I'm still not 100% yet, but still much better from Wednesday. Your FH may need an antibiotic. I'm taking advil too and a OTC decongestant, but that's just to be comfortable, the antibiotic is what made the difference!

He needs to take Tylenol to get rid of the fever not advil. Tylenol is a fever reducer and give him cool drinks not cold and a cool compress on his head.
Something is going around...I was home sick today with a fever and called my BF and she had one too...hope he gets better soon..lots of rest and liquids...Z packs do rock too (got one 2 days b4 our wedding when I got bronchitis and it was gone by wedding morning)
Seariously i would take him to a doctor and insist blood cultures be drawn and routine blood work. Fevers that high for a long period of time is not normal. I had a patient this week who was 30 came in with unknow origin of fevers and turned out bieng really sick. Tepid baths... Tylenol 650 mg (2 tylenol) and plenty of hydration. Good luck

hes on one...its not doing anything we called the doc he said if he doesnt feel better by monday to come see him...im not waitin till mon if he still has a 104 fever!!![]()
