I swear that women aggrivates me like no tomorrow. I cant freaking stand her already. We have like 233 people already invited to the wedding. I told FH no more people are being invited, money is starting to get tight and I want to make sure I have enough money to pay for everything.
Now my wonderful MIL calls to tell FH that someone else is being invited to the wedding since this someone had brought it up. Without even talking to me about it, he goes ahead and tells his mom to give him the address. Are you freaking serious
So now Im pissed telling him this is ********, the list is done and I dont want anymore people. He all upset saying Im giving him a hard time, I said Im mad because Im sitting right next to him, all he should of done is said to his mom, that he had to discuss this with me first before making a stupid move like that. I seriously feel like ripping my hair out.
His mom isnt even paying a dime for the wedding who the hell is she to invite people. I swear I cant wait for this to be over.
Sorry so long I had to vent

Re: Sick of MIL
I'm in a similar boat.
I have 242. 150 are due to HIS MOM (all 'FAMILY'). She's helping pay. It's awful...it's so bad now, it's funny: I tell her an extra couple is x hundred dollars. She doesn't GET IT.

Re: Sick of MIL
What gets me so mad is that she isnt even helping, who the hell is she to say who is coming. My parents are paying for my friends and my family, so they can invite whoever they please, but FMIL isnt. Of course she doesnt tell me because she knows I'll say no, so she goes to FH instead and tells him, cause he wont ever tell her no

Re: Sick of MIL

Re: Sick of MIL
That stinks, I hope he tells her no more people no matter what!!!! M FMIL has a very long list but is paying for them! I think short of close family friends that youa dnFH grew up knowing they should pay for these random people, JMHO.

Re: Sick of MIL
My FMIL took one look at her initial list, then decided to add another 20 people. FH wanted to look at the new list to see who these people were. Unfortunately, two weeks later I had my shower and every single woman on the new list was there!! So, now we can't bump them from the list because they were at the shower. I know 20 people isn't a whole lot, but it still hurts the wallet!! Needless to say, I feel your pain . . .
