Today I mentioned to someone that I am getting married at CLM and she wrinkled her nose. I ignored her because I'm not 13 and we're not in junior high and basically who gives a damn what she thinks. Now a different person has called me to complain about something I planned for tomorrow. They don't like where we're going, why did I pick that, blah blah blah. W T F Why are people so annoying/rude????????

Wow, some people really have no sensitivity!! Even if you HATE the place where someone is getting married (and why anyone would hate a reception hall is beyond me) you don't wrinkle your nose... you smile and say 'oh, that's nice'. Come on!
For what it's worth, I think CLM is gorgeous!! We were very close to booking there, but ended up deciding on a non-waterfront location (April wedding... weather could be iffy).

She makes twice what I make and is actually looking down on my choice. She also had a funny look on her face when she looked at my e-ring. It's one carat and I guess it's too small for her. Wanna hear the kicker?

It's this little thing called tact that people need to rediscover. Apparently it doesn't exist anymore. Just because you feel a certain way about a certain place, you don't say so to someone's face. You can quietly (or loudly I don't care as long as I don't have to hear you) ***** in your car or when you get home. Please do not tell me. People are mean. I've never been to CLM but pictures look beautiful and I hear the food is delicious! Your wedding will be fabulous, don't let them burst your bubble or second guess your decision.
