Siding - Please help!

We are considering getting new siding for our house. We have a 4 bedroom dormered cape. Can anyone recommend a company that does great work at reasonable prices... We are so scared of getting ripped off. Also, we are scared this is going to cost us a fortune. Has anyone had their house sided recently? Does anyone know how much it would cost, ball park figure.

Unfortunately, I don't have any recs or even a ball park for you.

Definitely shop around and get a few estimates beforehand. Make sure whomever you choose is licensed and insured.

If you plan on changing or updating windows in the home and the budget can swing it, try to do both at the same time, this will save you the headache of having to remove and replace the siding when and if you do replace windows later on. You can also decide to reinsulate at this time, too.
