Just an idea for guests to use a sign in board rather than the traditional guest book. I decided not to use the guest book cuz, what do you do with the darn thing after the wedding? I used pygraphics.com to create a picture of me and my hubby...she used pics of us when we were younger (5 yrs old) and dressed us up in wedding attire. Here it is: pygraphics The website is pygraphics.com We are going to get the pic framed and hang it up in our living room...much more practical than the guest book I think, and much more creative! Everyone loved it actually...

I already have a guest book, bc it matched my invites so I got it, but now am thinking of getting a large ceramic plate from one of those places where you make your own pottery, and having everyone sign it, then they will glaze and fire it for me - I have no idea how much this costs yet, but I figured it would be a great rememberance!

Re: sign in board instead of guest book for reception
we are doing the same thing, but we used 4 pix from our engagement shoot and had it framed at Michaels. There are 2 b&w and 2 colored pix. I will be right back with it.
I think this is way more useful than a guestbook
Happy planning all

What are the guests actually signing are they signing something seperate, is it connected to the picture, or the picture itself?

The pix are mounted on a matting. The guest use a special pen that they use for museum style work, it does not run and will not fade. It looks beautiful when it is all signed and framed
