sign in book

sign in book

I made my sign in book from Shutterfly.com

Does anyone know the best pens to use for a book like this? The paper is kinda shiny and I don't want the ink to run or pens to not work on it.

Thanks!!!

It's probably best to use those metillac (sp?) marker type pens. They usually don't run & should show up nicely

I actually would use a metalic sharpie!

They look just the same as the other ones, but dont need any time to dry!

metallic sharpie? I've never heard of them... they are different than regular sharpies?

I would look for something acid free.... try a craft store and look for a scapbooking markers. They won't fade or damage the book over time.

Sharpie actually makes a silver sharpie. I found it at a stationary store or drug store and bought one. I also bought a pack of assorted color sharpies too.

I just realized that I have to do this still! Questions for you:
1. Was the website user-friendly to make the book?
2. Was the quality of the book as you expected?
3. How long did it take for it to be in your hands after you made it online?

TIA!

Thanks so much for all the ideas :)

The website was really easy to use, just make sure your photos are cropped, edited and red-eyed (unredeyed?) before you upload them ot the website. I actually just made another one as a gift for my maid of honor (different pics of course!)

It takes about a week to get it in the mail.

The metallic sharpie looks nice, but i'm afraid the silver will be hard to read on the white pages. Do you think regular sharpies won't work?

Regular sharpies will be fine! I didn't know if your pages were black or white.

Sharpie actually makes a whole set of metallics...gold. silver, etc....(I own them...I teach and my kiddos love Sharpies)

Any sharpie should work...
