Is anyone having one or is going to have one? Where do you put it? Does it have to be big?
FH and I were in the store and HE actually picked it up and said, this would be nice (we're not doing a guest book and pen) so I think he might want to do this. We saw one that was maybe 16 x 20. Is that too small or too big?
Does anyone have pictures of theirs? I'm guessing you put your engagement picture in the middle right? TIA

Re: Sign-in guest board...
I dont really think there is a set size. I guess whatever you feel comfortable with. We are doing the same thing and I had planned to hang it above our entertainment system. The frame matches the furniture and its pretty big. Let me see what size it is.

Thanks for the response, I guess I meant where do you put it at the reception? Sorry

Mine is 3 ft by 3 ft. It will be set up on an easel at the entrance to the cocktail hour room, then moved to the entrance of the reception room.

Re: Sign-in guest board...
i didn't know where to put ours since there wasn't really room near the entrance into our reception room. So we had our sign-in board set up right next to the DJ in our reception room...
but some people didn't see it so I made sure the DJ made an announcement and reminded everyone to go over and sign it before they left
Oh I like the pottery barn one. I guess if I get a smaller one (maybe 8 x 10) I can just put it on a table as opposed to an easel right?

I'll probably put it on an easel near the placecards and then move it near the bar during dinner. The one from potterybarn is pretty huge....

It is, I guess you have to get a special kind of paper for the guests to write on. Do you use a special pen so it doesn't bleed?

We put an 8x10 of us in the middle, and ours was 26x18. I have to say that a lot of people did not knwo what to do, so when we have people visit our home we ask them to sign in.
It is super-important that you hall & DJ tell people what to do.
ETA: I got mine at Michaels & It came with the 'signing matte'

Re: Sign-in guest board...
I plan on getting the Pottery Barn one, we bought a house, and it would be nice on one of our walls, but we also have a guest book, got the guest book first, and then saw this, so we will have both, can't return the guest book....I plan on putting one of engagement photos in the center of the of the frame, then after the wedding put a wedding photo in it.

Can you put Please Sign on it or does that look tacky?

My picture is 16x20! I want to see if Duet will make it smaller. I don't think I need a 16x20 picture of myself!! I like the Pottery Barn Sign on frames. Good size.

Maybe you can tell your Banquet manager to tell who ever will be directing the guests to mention there is a sign in board.
