....who is having one? What is it? and why did you choose it?
We are most likely going with a fruity red Sangria. It will go nicely with our wine theme. We love sangria also.... and most of our friends love wine, etc.

Re: Signature Cocktails...
We are actually having our wedding at a vineyard, so to go with the theme we're are having tasting fleets by our last names. My fleet will be three red wines and my FH's fleet will be three whites! We will personally pick the wines for each flight.
I also was going to have a martinee station for all my girls who love them and name one Something Blue, but I stole that from the WE channel!

Re: Signature Cocktails...
We are having at least 1, possibly 2-3. The one is called the Alexander the Great, but I'm changing the name to Ali and Alex the Great. Before anyone judges LOL, FH is Greek, and the first movie we saw together was Alexander. It's basically a liquor mudslide, vodka, kahlua, cream de cocoa, and milk.
Then I stole the Wedding Cake martini from I think Simply Fondue, it's amaretto, milk, and lemon I think? Hmm, maybe we'll do a dry run of that.
Since those are so milky and sweet, I'm trying to think of something lighter and fruity to even it out as a third choice.

I'm having Bellini's too! I was in Charleston last year and they made it with Champagne and Peach Schnapps, instead of peach nectar. It was soooo good. If I have a drink 2 times in a year that a lot but the Bellini's are good. I am going to call it a 'Moe-lini' (my name is Monique and everyone calls me Moe)

such great ideas!!! how did you guys decide on your cocktails? did you have to discuss them with your banquet manager? were they included with your RH or did they charge you extra for them?

I actually love the whole idea of a signature cocktail. The Sangria will be more of the Invite cocktail as soon as you arrive. If we don't do the sangria, we'll prob do mimosa... We're having a tropical bar for CH hour...all your frozen caribbean drinks... which I love. The Pomegranite mojito may be a possibility for signature drink during the reception... we had one the night he proposed and loved it. So it is still up in the air... but these are what we are considering.

Re: Signature Cocktails...
We might do one... we're going to see what kind of package we can get.
If we do, we might do a Pumpkin Pie or Apple Martini to go with our holiday/homey theme.

Nina - the pomegranite mojito sounds great or maybe a pomegranite martini..... i am having a 'drink' menu with like 4 signature drinks on it - love all these ideas :)

Wow I was going with a Red Sangria as well as mine and some type of Margarita to represent my FH.

Re: Signature Cocktails...
We're looking to have two signature cocktails and two signature mocktails. Most of FH's family doesn't drink because of their religion, and most of my family drinks because we're Irish - LOL!
We haven't decided on the drinks yet - once we decide on a color theme, we may base the drinks around that.

That's also a great idea...go with the color scheme. Another reason we are considering the pomegranite mojito. Hoping the bartender can make a great one.

Re: Signature Cocktails...
We had the Blue Barnacle My nickname for my DH is Barnacle (he's a boater which is part of why lol) and we had a seashell theme so it fit. It was basically a blue pina colada.
