Signature Drinks

Signature Drinks

I saw a post about this on BHB. I really like the idea but I'm not sure if my RH does them... I was really going to just take an existing cocktail and rename it... do you think my RH would think I'm completely insane if I make such a request?

Re: Signature Drinks

my hall asked us if we wanted to have any, and there was no extra charge. it's possible if it had some rare liquor in it they might have, but they made it sound like a normal request.

they also offered to make signs for us but i provided my own

I can't imagine it being too hard to do, especially if I make a sign and give them the recipe, right?

I guess I'm sure people have asked for more insane things lol

As long as there is an open bar, I highly doubt that would be a problem. At Smithtown Landing (where I'm doing mine) they ask if you want to have a signature drink at the cocktail hour.

If you want to just take an existing drink and rename it, you should decide which drink you want to use, then post it on here and have people come up with names for the drink - just give us your name, FH's name, and a couple things about you that might help in the creative process! :) HTH!

You should definitely ask - every RH I looked at told us about how they do a 'signature' drink. Usually it is just a regular drink renamed. At my place they walk around with it at the cocktail hour so that people don't have to worry about ordering it at the bar.

Its really easy! I do this all the time. Just check with your RH and make a cute sign and frame it. Put it on the bar and you've got yourself a 'signature drink'!!!

It's worth a shot to at least ask! I can't see why they would tell you no, especially if it's open bar and you provide the sign.

my rh said that as long as they have the alcohol needed it would be no problem.
