Signature picture frames vs. traditional guest books?
What will you ladies be doing for guests sign?
I love the thought of the signature frame but so many of them are engraveable that I wonder, once the wedding is over, will you be able to see the writing on the matting?
Ideas.....

I was thinking about making a guestbook out of our engagement photos so they can write their names and wishes.

I was going to do the picture frame, but then someone got me a guest book. Decision was made for me.

One of the girls on here gave me the idea to get one of our engagement pics made into a puzzle, and each guest would sign the back of one.
Its perfect because we're donating to an autism foundation and doing autism puzzle cookies.
And then after the wedding you can get a double sided frame

Originally I wanted the pic frame until I saw one at a wedding. There is def not enough room for everyone to write.
Now I am thinking of a guestbook made on shutterfly of pics of us and people can sign the pages

I bought this engravable picture frame that we can put a wedding picture in and then hang up. It got good reviews, hope it comes out pretty after everyone signs! :)

Re: Signature picture frames vs. traditional guest books?
we're doing a baseball bat with our names and date engraved on it. FH collects baseball stuff and already has a few signed bats in nice cases (one day for the mancave) so we thought we'd do a bat, have everyone sign and then get a nice case to put it in. This way we'll most likely always have it out (hopefully in the mancave) but at least it will be out.

I'm doing the picture frame, FH and I saw one hanging on our friends wall and loved the idea. We're doing a smaller wedding (approx 100 ppl) so I think the size will be fine.
What I don't like about traditional guestbooks is they become dust-collectors... although I do like the idea of making your own wiht pictures like Mrscat says, because people are mor elikely to look through it again.
