FH and I want to do gourmet candy apples as our favor but FSIL told me that when she got married her RH was going to make her sign a waiver for edible favors. Has anyone else been told this by their RH?

I wasn't told this for edible favors, however, I was told if I bring in any food I have to sign a waiver just in case someone gets food poisoning from it they are not responsible.

I think it depends on the favor? Like if we bring in cupcakes from an outside non-recommended vendor then I think I have to, but if it's something like M&M's/Chocolate then no.
