Signs of pregnancy

Hi everyone. Im under a secret name because i am freaking out. i think i might be pregnant, but my home pregnancy test says no. what are the signs? should i take another one? I have a doctor appointment in 2 weeks, but i cant wait. this is awful! Please help

Is your period regular and did you miss it yet? Aside from a + test, that is usually a sign that you might be pg. Sometimes HPT can give a false negative, so you should retest again in a day or two. Do you have really sore breasts? A lot of pg symptoms are like period sxs, so it's hard to distinguish. Don't freak out, we're here for you. Good luck and let us know.

They arent sore at all, i dont have my period every month. maybe once in 3 monthes. i just had it though, but not as heavy as normal. So that worried me. Plus this morning i thought i was getting my period again, but then it went away. now i have s tomach ain, but think its because i am so nervous. Maybe I am nuts. IM going to my regular doctor tonight to check out my stomach pains, so maybe he will be able to tell me something

Ask your family physician to give you a blood pg test. It will be as accurate as the urine hpt. Or, they can give you a beta hcg test to see if you have the pg hormone in you. I would take advantage of the appt you have today so that you will not have to wait 2 weeks.

The lighter than normal period you had could actually be implantation bleeding...when the fertilized egg is implanting itself in the lining of your uterus. It is common in the early stages of pregnancy to have some light bleeding or spotting. I would watch this carefully over the next day or two.

Also, aside from being a little nervous - how else are you feeling? Have you been able to concentrate on your normal job function, your homelife? Sometimes, pregnancy can cause distraction...I'm not sure why exactly but I remember feeling that way too. It could be the rise in hormones in the body.

How are your clothes fitting? Some women notice an immediate change in the way their clothes fit, and even feel a weight gain immediately.

Have you had any morning sickness or nausea? I remember feeling nausea AND hunger at the same time, which was so weird to me.

Remember - don't panic. You may not be PG at all, but your nerves could create some of the above symptoms anyway. Speak to your doctor tonight, and if he/she can't confirm either way, than take another HPT in a couple of days.

best bet is to take he test again. Definatley 1st morning urine!! That's thebest time (no matter what the box says!)

Hello all. thankyou so much for your support. It turns out that I am not pregnant! which i am obviously happy about right now. I'm still spotting and i have an appointment to see the OBGYN next week. I hope there isnt anything serious going on, because I do want to have kids someday. Just not now. Thanks so much guys!

Glad to hear you are ok, feel better!
