do u think that there r signs in a relationship that will show the outcome that pple ignore.. for example if a guy promises to do something for you, and he says oh i tried but i couldnt get/buy/do it..do u think it is an excuse or laziness?? and signs that he will not put an effort in down the road in the relationship

yes, it depends on the situation, but recurring things like that can be a good indicator.

Re: signs to come...in a relationship
To me, the first months of a relationship were always amazing, and the guys were usually willing to do a lot more than later on in the relationship...My FH left roses on my windshield at the train station every week, or hid boxes of chocolate on my tires with notes telling me where to look...Like everything, this stuff tends to get less the longer you are together, so I don't think that is a good sign if it is early on in the relationship...

Re: signs to come...in a relationship
Hmmmm, I don't believe that every little thing is a sign...but I do think that there are signs that we sometimes ignore or don't see for ourselves. I dated a guy who lived about 40 minutes away and he never wanted to drive over to see me, I always had to go see him. Also, I was supposed to go with him to a wedding, but he didn't want to come pick me up - my parents were furious!
When I think back on it now, I always think that as a general rule in a relationship - It should never be difficult to see someone that you really want to.

Farah, did we date the same guy back in the day? (just kidding
I also had an ex that lived one hour north of me, and I drove EVERY WEEKEND up to see him for the year we were together. I can think of only 3x that he bothered to drive to see me and he always found reasons to get out of family get togethers, claiming 'he couldn't leave his doggy overnight' or something else similarly ridiculous. My parents and brother hated him, and thought he was the lowest class of man to make ME drive every weekend to see him.. in retrospect, they were right (though back then, I rebelliously told them to butt out )
I guess that's how I knew that sometimes 'the signs' early on mean something. When I met DH, realizing we lived 1.5 hours apart caused me to wonder... that is, until I saw he was willing to drive OVER ONE HOUR to see me every weekend, plus weekedays in between when he could. I then realized what the difference was between men who you may THINK love you and those who truly do.
As the old saying goes, 'actions do speak louder than words'
