At frist I was totally against it- then a few floral designers were telling me how it's so nice because they last forever and ppl can keep them etc....
What do you think? For even money with fresh would you go with silk? Or what if it was less $$ for silk? Then would you go for it?

I'm actually debating on it myself.

Re: Silk...
I originally was going to look into it but then I'd have to do the centerpieces myself which would have taken more time (because I'm far from a pro) than it's worth.

Re: Silk...
I prefer fresh flowers. IMO, they usually look nicer and they make the room smell good.

Re: Silk...
My mom got silk flowers that some at work made for her. It looked really nice. But after awhile the dust gets on them and it's really hard to keep clean.

Re: Silk...
I can have the floral designer make silk- it's the same price as fresh.
Do I want to keep my bok forever? Will my guests want the CP's to stay forever? I just don't know.
I read a review of a bride where her photog didnt get pics of her bok and she was so disappointed-- that and if I do a day after shoot I'll have a bok for it!!
What to do what to do....

Re: Silk...
Do you know what I just thought of??
FH has major allergies... maybe I AM better off going with silk than going with fresh so I don't take a chance that he is sneezing and stuffy all night. (whenever we go to wakes the flowers bother him)
