silk flowers anyone?

Is anyone using silk flowers instead of real ones. Will this look ok? I have bad bad allergies.I don't want the flowers to ruin my day.

I had contemplated silk flowers for awhile. My mom remarried and she did silk flowers. I was her MOH and I just loved the fact that I could keep them and have them forever. Her pictures came out amazing, actually people would look at the pictures always complimented the flowers. When I told them they were fake, they were shocked. The only reason I am not doing them is because the florist told me that I am getting married in April....which is the best month to be accessible to all colors and types of flowers. Since you are so allergic, I would definitely get silk. What month are you getting married. Do you know what kind of centerpieces you want? You can have the florist make you a sample and then decide if you like it or not.

I had a friend who's Mother was deadly allergic to all flowres and she had to use silk. They were just as nice and last forever. Even the centerpieces were silk and we still have in at my house for decorations. The things they can do with silk these days are amazing and people think that it is just as nice. Just think, they willn't wilt by the end of the day.
