Anyone used silk flowers for centerpieces. I wanted to go more cost effective and cherry blossoms but unfortantly the season we booked they are gone. I feel like it would be too cheesy. Suggestions?

Crashing. Its not for the centerpieces but all bridesmaids bouquets, boutieners and corsages will be silk flowers. My aunt has done them for two other weddings in my family and they look great. I say go for it.

We're doing silk arrangements around the woodlands but for personals and centerpieces we're going real. I think for decor silk are ok but for pictures and guests real is the way to go call black Dhalia Sheryl is reasonable

It totally depends on the quality of the silk flower and the variety of flower used. (Some flowers just don't look good in a silk version.) Think of all the silk roses you've seen - the ones with the fake 'dew' sold in convenience stores....and then there's higher end ones that look real.

ETA: personally, I've never seen a good silk Calla Lilly - as an example. Mums can look great. Not sure about the cherry blossoms....
